Welcome to Ignition Kidz
Ignition Kidz is the children’s ministry of First Church San Jose, designed especially for kids ages 4–10. Our mission is simple — to ignite young hearts with the love of God through creative learning, engaging worship, and joyful community.
Every Sunday, children experience hands-on Bible stories, fun music, games, and activities that help them grow in faith, kindness, and confidence. We believe every child is wonderfully made and has a special place in God’s story.
Service Time: Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
what to Expect On Sundays
When families arrive for worship, kids start with their parents in the main sanctuary for a brief welcome. They will be invited to join our Ignition Kidz team for age-appropriate activities and lessons.
Each session includes:
Interactive Bible Lessons: Engaging stories that teach faith, friendship, and compassion.
Creative Crafts & Games: Activities that reinforce the lesson in a hands-on way.
Music & Worship: Joyful songs that encourage praise and expression.
Prayer & Reflection: A gentle moment for children to share what they’ve learned and how they can live it out.
Our safe, nurturing environment helps children feel comfortable, build friendships, and grow in their relationship with God.
Our Teaching Philosophy
